Why has it been brought so clearly into awareness this morning?

tenderness: gentleness and kindness

the image of a kitten removing the thorn from the lion’s paw comes to awareness…

a sense that God’s touch is tender.

That i do not need to do anything to drop the defenses

All that is required is…

that i take the stand as the SELF

and i withdraw any and all effort in building the defenses back up

Soft and quiet and tender today
